Netherlands striker Dirk Kuyt is expected to miss the next few weeks after he suffered a shoulder injury in training, Dutch manager Bert van Marwijk confirmed on Monday.
Kuyt sustained the injury when he fell awkwardly while attempting a bicycle kick in training, and Van Marwijk revealed the extend of the damage at a news conference.
"He tries that maneuver a lot but this time it went wrong," Van Marwijk said. "He pulled some ligaments in his shoulder and maybe some are torn.
